One last time!
LNER Power Cars 43112 & 43006, seen in Inter-City retro Yellow & Blue are seen passing Welham Green on the shortest day of the year on the 21st of December 2019. Seen on the up slow line, which is not normally the way that these iconic workhorse’s normally use on their way down to the Capital. This was the final leg of a 4 day LNER HST farewell tour, which toured Scotland & the North of England on the first 3 days, before heading south to Kings Cross for the finale!
For the record here 43112 & 43006 are seen working the 11:01 1Z43 from Leeds to London’s KX.
