Flaming Cliffs

Unmoved

From time without

End

You rest

There in the midst of the paths

In the midst of the winds

You rest

Covered with the droppings of birds

Grass growing from your feet

Your head decked with the down of birds

You rest

In the midst of the winds

You wait

Aged one.

'The Flaming Cliffs' of the Gobi Desert, Omnogovi Province. Once also an ocean bed, the site is famous for the first discovery of dinosaur eggs, hundreds of thousands of fossil bones, and the first preserved dinosaur footprints which were discovered in 1922. You'll notice that's our little 4WD is in distance.
