The abundant rains have caused a large number of orchids (Ophrys fusca) to bloom while delaying the emergence of the butterflies. This specimen (Pontia daplidice) was the only one of this species that I was able to photograph early in the morning when it was still cold and wet.
Las abundantes lluvias han hecho florecer gran cantidad de orquídeas (Ophrys fusca) a la par que han retrasado la emergencia de las mariposas. Este ejemplar (Pontia daplidice) fue el único de esta especie que pude fotografiar a primera hora de la mañana cuando el frío y la humedad aún la atenazaba.
