More of the view from the Parpfienzsattel: you can see the Schesaplana (2965m) and the Wildberg, and then the Brandner Glacier (that is the snow expanse most centrally situated in this shot). The gravel road is the Parpfienzweg, the walking trail that we followed from the mountain station of the Panorama cable car down to Brand in the Austrian Brandnertal. It is popular wirh mountain bikers too. The mountains pictured here are on the border with Switzerland. [Explored on 28/07/2024, #131]
