Skull Lurking in the Wood?? [Explored]

I thought this fungus had a skull-like shape and colour. I wouldn't like to come across a big one like this on a Halloween walk! 💀👽

The Common earthball is poisonous, so maybe the shape of this specimen is a welcome warning ... ☠ [Explored in the Patterns Takeover, on 28/12/2023, #312]
