On the Dutch Island of Terschelling the KNRM (Koninklijke Nederlandse Reddings Maatschappij or Royal Dutch Rescue Organisation) provides demonstrations. In the past horses were used to drag the rescue boats into the rough sea. Here you will find a photo of such a rescue. I was lucky because a dark grey sky developed during this demonstration. That makes this scene even more close to real.
