Regency TRANSISTOR RADIO MODEL TR-1, S/N 26974, Circa 1955, Made in USA by REGENCY DIV. I.D.E.A. INC.
This is the most recent Regency TR-1 that I add to my collection, I found it in my favorite flea market here in Mexico City. It is in very good condition, only with natural wear and tear and a small break in the lower left. The serial number is very low, 26974, so it must have been produced no later than early 1955.
I tried it with two 9V batteries connected in series and it still works, although with very low volume, maybe replacing the electrolytic capacitors can work better, but I leave it original.
