Hektor Sketch
Sketch of my OC Hektor, the Angel of War. He is actually Donovan's counterpart (War and Peace = Hektor and Donovan). He is much more boisterous than the calm and collected Donovan due to his fiery spirit. Now, he is called the Angel of War, but he never liked war per-say. He was given this responsibility so it is his job to uphold his responsibilities, even though he may not like it. He doesn't watch over war specifically either. Simply put, his purpose is much greater than people know. He is not this Spartan-like figure who lives to watch people die. He overlooks personal struggles and conflicting opinion (which is really where all wars-internal and external-start). Part of his duty is to give strength and help mortals overcome their personal wars, not just battles. Although he dislikes war, sometimes mortals will not learn unless the worst happens to them. So to direct people in the right direction, he has to do the hard thing and bring upon meaningless conflict. I know that is a lot of information. Let's just say the existence of Donovan and Hektor are dependent. You can't have peace without war and you can't have war without peace. And because they are opposites does not mean they cannot go along hand in hand. So he has to bring war to bring peace.
