Intercity liveried 87029 'Earl Marischal' and matching stock round Queensville Curve on the approach to Stafford with an afternoon London Euston-Liverpool Lime Street train in March 1987. I first saw a lovely Michael Mensing picture of a class 40 here in a railway annual in the 1960's and the footbridge remains a popular location for photographers today
