Christmas Trees vs. Chino Condor Curotto Cans

Chino, CA

12/30/17 & 1/6/18

Here we have Chino's 2 coolest and best looking trucks 264024 and 262025 collecting Christmas trees. While some garbage trucks struggle, or are incapable of handling Christmas trees. The Condor Wittke/Leach FL's with a Curotto Can, make the whole Christmas tree collection process easy and efficient with no need to send out additional trucks covering the same route. It was a blast seeing the Curottos arm pick up Christmas trees without the driver leaving the cab. The Christmas trees were certainly no match for the Curotto Cans.

Both Wittke/Leach Condors were originally diesel trucks that were converted to CNG. This is the first video of 264025 with a Curotto Can, even though 264024 has been sped up since I saw it last, 264025 is still faster which was fun to see. You will see nighttime clips at 13:33 the Chino mechanics added lights to the Condor that point directly to the carts so the driver is able to determine the color of the lid, I thought that was a innovative and helpful idea.

In this video you will also see the McNeilus Curotto Can (2:55) that Chino was borrowing from Moreno Valley. I have a full video of both Moreno Valley McNeilus Curotto Cans that I highly recommend watching if you have not already seen that video. www.youtube.com/watch?v=6HRHpwEXrVQ&t=439s

Big thank you to WMmaster626, Waste Management and the drivers Jose, Jose and Victor, a former WM Baldwin Park driver.

Thank you for watching and I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas this year!
