Macro Mondays theme Unusual Patterns

 

With a theme like this, the most difficult bit was to choose something and stick with it! This is 4-5cm length of some kind of meadow grass I picked up on my walks yesterday. I tried but failed to identify it on the internet. Their compact bristly texture is irresitable.
