Unseen 4:18 (IR)

With Infrared being about the 'unseen', it’s got me thinking about 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 (NIV). Life has been extremely crazy, so I am looking forward to spending more time being renewed with Jesus.

16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. 17 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. 18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

I'm quite pleased with my first infrared picture. Originally, I oddly like the lens glare, but then felt annoyed with during the editing, but decided to keep it in the end. It was quite a learning curve to get here, so I've listed some of the most helpful guides to me below. It's also the first picture I've posted since Lent as my previous computer died during the first week of Lent. It was nice to give it up for a while, but I was really excited when my new computer arrived. I spent all weekend getting it setup, and was practically frantic about trying to get it up to speed. I wish I would have spent more time with Jesus during the process. Even when I finally got everything set up, I felt apprehensive about starting, but everything was wonderful. Hopefully at some point I'll get my camera converted so I can get away from long exposures, but it’s been a lot of fun being with Infrared photography. I imagine there will be different spectrums of light to play with in heaven

Lastly, here are the tutorials that helped me the most

Noealz Tutorial showed me how to get a custom Color profile. watched several of his videos

Ben has an interesting twist, instead of swapping the blue and red channels, he inverts the levels which does something similar, but very different (8:20ish) I've started doing both and picking my favorite
