Origin: USA.
Although the box is marked as Made in the USA and there are no overprints or evidence of stickers, I suspect the pieces were cut by Holdson in New Zealand, as the layout and card stock match other puzzles that they have produced, whether for themselves or for Tower Press and Waddingtons.
After failing to create a workable horizon, I moved on to the manmade objects, first creating the houses and then the boats before gradually filling in most of the remainder of the central third.
From there, worked downward to the lower edge before returning to the upper third to slowly finish off the picture. Not the easiest piece cut to work with, particularly for areas where the colour is the same (sky, sea) or even for the upper foliage.
Bought more jigsaws…
