Whiskey Creek has stayed open all winter because of the mild temperatures this year. I woke up this morning to -10F (-23C) with a wind chill of -32F (-36C). Above freezing temperatures will return on Sunday. The Department of Natural Resources have closed many ramps going onto lakes as they have had so many calls for rescuing people who have went through the ice with their vehicles.
