Siamese Fireback, photographed by Keith Valentine in Thailand
News in from tour leader, Keith Valentine:
Today marked the final day of our exceptionally successful Thailand tour. We were richly rewarded in the south of the country as we enjoyed fabulous views of Malayan Banded and Mangrove Pittas, Barred Eagle Owl, Spotted Wood Owl, Scarlet-rumped Trogon, Green Broadbill, Blyth’s Frogmouth, Nicobar Pigeon, Red-bearded Bee-eater and a vagrant Beach Thick-knee. Our final trip total of 544 species reflects just what a remarkable country this is for birdwatching and I am already looking forward to returning next year.
