Rock And Roll
Unmistakably one of Cornwalls most easily recognisable locations, Saint Michaelโs Mount.
Did you know that from 1193, when the Mount was seized by Henry La Pomeray (who disguised his men as pilgrims), that is not cricket, cheating old git. Through the Wars of the Roses in 1473, when the Mount was held by the Earl of Oxford, to the Civil War, when Royalists valiantly held back the forces of Oliver Cromwell, the Mount has weathered many times of battle.
Why canโt people just behave themselves, father would have clipped us around the ear if we behaved like this.
Now looking at all the fisticuffs that have taken place here over the years, how about a bit of peace and love man.
Therefore I have often thought how good it would be if I bought the Mount and turned it into a music venue for party animals.
Imagine the likes of Roger Taylor (Queen) and his band to name but a few on the roof of this gig playing their iconic tracks booming out across Mounts Bay.
The employment that could be created by the vast numbers of boats required to transport the booze across to the island, plus transporting the bands, their sparkies and vast numbers of party goers.
What do you think, how do I set up a crowdfunding account, Mrs P, where is my piggy bank.
Thank you so much for viewing my photos, I so appreciate the comments and banter.
Have a lovely weekend ๐บ๐บ๐บ๐ท๐ท๐ท๐๐๐
