Armeria Maritima

Sort of following on from my previous photograph at Polzeath, you know the one where I cosmetically rearranged my derriere whilst using it as a makeshift (I said shift not !) braking device scrambling down over rocks to stop myself taking an unplanned swim.

Well during my rather speedy decent I was aware of a pink blur to my lefthand side and before you ask, no I had not been consuming my thinking juice that is aged in oak barrels, as I was driving.

The pink was in fact clumps of thrift just coming into bloom across the bay from this location. These delicate little flowers are always such a spectacle on our cliffs at this time of the year. It is so sad that they are short lived, but that is the ever evolving process of nature I suppose.

So what better excuse for a return visit to try and capture this delightful annual event a few nights later.

I will leave you with this thought for the weekend, If plan β€˜A’ fails, don’t get stressed, there are 25 more letters in the alphabet

Thank you for viewing my images, the comments and banter you leave are so appreciated πŸΊπŸΊπŸΊπŸ·πŸ·πŸ·πŸ˜ŽπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.
