A view inside the Waupun State Prison walls. Shot through the iron bars along a sidewalk, this area formerly housed a womens prison from about 1855 til 1865 when part of it was moved and continues to survive with a long, rich, storied history. Something about having a womens prison inside a mens prison didn't work out too well.
