" Down River Road, one Autumn Day "

This Beech tree lined road in Glendalough looks as though its glowing from the coppery golden hues radiating from the leaves.

I have never seen colour quite like it in all my many previous Autumns.Id love to take a photo the four seasons on this road and I will get back to do them over the next year hopefully!!!

The title of my pic is a corruption of the title of Patrick Kavanagh`s poem " On Raglin Road "

" On Raglin road, on an Autumn day.

I saw her first and knew, That her dark hair

Would weave a snare, That I might one day rue,

I saw the danger, yet I passed, Along the enchanted

way,

And I said let grief, be a fallen leaf,

At the dawning of the day "

If you zoom in on the "white" house at the end of the road, and look at the upstairs window, you van see the copper/gold of the trees reflected in the glass. Ive just noticed it.Amazing really!

Do hope you like my photo and have a great weekend!

Pat.
