Ripples in the sand

I took a walk at the beach today. The wind had formed wave patterns in the slightly wet sand. I was searching for some disturbances created by some beach artifacts like shelves and pieces of wood. After some time of searching I found this artifact that looked like a caterpillar crawling in the sand that created an obstacle for the wind, disturbing the regular wave pattern. I choose to go for a black and white picture with high contrast to emphasize the graphic nature of the pattern. Taken with my smartphone.
