This is one of the reasons tourists flock to Lake Tyrrell-known as Sky Mirror.
On the first morning we arrived, we did a sunrise tour with the Julie from www.sealaketyrrelltours.com.au/. She was recommended by a lovely friend who has photographed the lake and area over many years and written a beautiful book Lake Tyrrell An ever-changing Landscape

As we left our cabin at 5:30, we could see the clouds in the west were already showing hints of red. A good sign. A small number of tourists joined us and by the time we got to the part of the Lake Julie has access too, the sky began to turn red.
