Multiplication (2x 10 My suburb Flickr x100 challenge) DSC_5568

This is a combination of four in camera 10 multiple exposures (40 images) and some textures.

I have been wanting to try the Pep Ventosa technique "in the round" after being inspired by the work of friends on Flickr. I was unable to do the exposures "in the round" as there were no single trees that I could walk around near-by. Will have to wait till we can move about more!

Instead I photographed 10 different street trees for each batch of multiple exposures and then blended them in Photoshop.

You can also take the images separately and blend them in Photoshop which I tried on one occasion and it crashed the computer! Huge files- I realised afterwards it is best to take them in jpegs.

The tree probably needs abit more definition to make this image successful but I liked the colours and textures I ended up with.

I think it is good to post an image of the beginning of a journey into a new technique and hopefully see an improvement along the way. I have a few more ideas to try.
