If you haven't heard this one for awhile, it is worth a trip down memory lane. An amazing story surrounding the song. Joni couldn't make Woodstock as her manager said it would help her career if she appeared on a TV show instead. She wrote this from watching it on TV and from the accounts of her then boyfriend Graham Nash who performed at Woodstock. I thought it appropriate give the smog and smoke surrounding us at the moment.

 

Taken at the top of Coronet Peak, Queenstown on a different evening that the one I posted yesterday. The golden sunrays snuck through the clouds and drifted down over the mountains producing a gorgeous orange glow.
