Eastern Yellow Robin DSC_5520

While these birds are relatively common, this is only the second time I have seen them.

After a very early start to photograph sunrise near-by, our Camera Club went onto the Yea River Wetlands.

I was so tired I could hardly keep my eyes open. Suffering also from vertigo at the moment, bird photography in particular is a challenge. However, it is amazing how you get a second burst of energy when you see something exciting to photograph! A large group of Yellow Robins danced around Andrew and I for about 20 minutes. Pure delight.
