Texas Version of El Capitan
Whenever I think of El Capitan, Yosemite National Park is what comes to mind. However, Texas also has an El Capitan, located in Guadalupe Mountains National Park in Salt Flat, Texas. I got this shot early one morning on my way to the trailhead of the Guadalupe Peak Trail. This is the 10th-highest peak in Texas, at 8,085 ft.
