Six Axle Sunset
Well documented by many other railfans, the looming demise of the WNYP's six axle MLW's drew me to Olean for a pair of recent trips before it was all over. The second of which was with my brother Mark and despite some minor issues with the weather, we netted some gems from the journey including a night shoot with five of the Big M's on display. There was no Driftwood job on this day so after following the Salamanca and Farmer's Valley jobs we enjoyed a lovely meal at the Beef and Barrel. Afterwards, the weather still hadn't really cleared but Mark suggested we persist and by the time we got back to the shops, the rain had stopped. I think the result was definitely worth the effort!
