Eastern State Penitentiary in Philadelphia was once the most expensive prison in the world. Now it stands in ruin, a series of crumbling cellblocks and empty guard towers. It's cells once held many of America's most notorious criminals, including "Scarface" Al Capone. The good news is that it is open to visitors.
