Avie Lochan - 27 Feb 2017

I have been waiting for ages to get a sunny shot of this cottage which sits on a peninsula at Avie Lochan, near Aviemore. Unfortunately, the house is so well insulated that the snow on the bright red roof had not melted - but you cannot have everything.

 

An idyllic spot but probably not in the midgie season!
