Kingswells consumption dyke - 23 Jan 2016

One of several wide stone walls constructed in the early 19th century to consume stones and boulders dug up when the fields were being improved for agriculture. This one near Kingswells on the outskirts of Aberdeen was broad enough for a carriage to be driven along the top.
