Rescue Iris in Bloom ... this past year our neighborhood has seen many old bungalow's torn down, replaced by new construction. This Iris is a cutting from a 91 year old woman's house that she gave us before she left. We tried to rescue a few more from the flower bed before the house was demolished. The new owner said he was going to save all the old flowers and we could not take any cuttings. The next morning the bulldozer showed up, and the flowers were buried in seconds. We were so happy to see our one cutting bloom ... now we know Laura's Iris will live on and be Enjoyed!
