"Hands Across The Sea" - Holtzapffel
An interesting Figure-It-Out from Holtzapffel - the only only one i was able to afford to win at a recent BCD meeting auction of 30 or so top class puzzles from the collection of a sadly deceased member.
I don't know if these individuals are specific people or just representatives of the Btitish and French armies .. i need to do a little more research on it.
300 pieces with several very high quality replacements.
Update: This is actually from a Lawson Wood postcard in his WW1 series. It's No.3 and titled "Hands Across The Sea" - thought confusingly there seem to be more than postcard in this series with the same number?
