Patch Reef

20 minutes off shore from the CEI resides a patch of coral reef. After fish have lived out their nursery years in mangroves, they live at coral reefs, later maturing to open ocean waters. The Patch Reef is tingling with fish for scuba divers to see and researchers to learn from. Their natural capital is significant ecologically and economically and their structure is delicate; therefore, humans need to be mindful when dropping anchor and of dwindling fish populations.
