Toothbrush Developments
The brief was to design a toothbrush for young children aged 5 - 12 years which will teach them the importance of dental hygiene. I decided to use well loved characters from kids TV shows, movies and games in my initial ideas to instantly get the target group engaged in the brush and the activity of brushing their teeth. I used marker pens to add vibrant colours to my sketches. After meeting with a group of children who fit in my target market, they decided the How To Train Your Dragon themed brush was the most appealing to them. Therefore I took this idea forward and looked at different ways to incorporate the character with the brush in different positions, keeping ergonomics and the aesthetics in my mind throughout.
