Back feeling much better. Started the heavy work, tangs are super thick and am going to taper/ thin them significantly. Will leave some thickness for post brazing thinning but as little as possible.OO ring file.

Centre section go bye bye. Really slowly.

So, deciding on the look takes me so long, I have only a general idea, but the little decisions, arc to big? Points to long. Changing this, affects that. So I think maybe...I'll match the other side and then decide. Yes it's active procrastination.

Really happy with the fit up. I went to a fair bit of trouble to align and fixture the extra bits before initially brazing them on and it's has so far worked out really well.

PMW brake bosses, for Paul’s Racer Brakes, still need the bushings with it, which is a bummer. I shortened it as much as I dare, the brake arm clears a Shimano headset by about 5mm, a little more on a chris king. Hopefully be o.k.

Simple, super cheap, but very effective brake boss fixturing. Copes have to be good, but it’s very stable and keeps things square very well. Getting things in the right spot after fluxing you need to be on the ball and have your location checks sorted.

Magnets...Duh...sometimes I’m so slow to connect the dots. What a huge improvement. Almost completely klutz proof. Never underestimate my klutz factor though. It’s strong in this one( me):)

Magnetic brake mockup. Should mount a 42c on , but looks like things are going to work out fairly well. I guess the location of the bosses pretty well even before the mock-up. Math...who knew?
