First time.
First time for everything, I do reuse spokes from time to time but only on a rim transfer ( spokes stay in the hub) and only if everything seems to be in good condition, here I’m reusing spokes, actually brand new other than being laced in that broken Specialized hub, with a NOS Specialized hub courtesy of Brian Hunwick (Thanks Brian ) keeping track of the spokes orientation so I don’t re-bend all the spoke heads elbows, potentially shortening their fatigue life unnecessarily from setting them in different orientations. From Right to left, DS heads in, DS heads out NDS heads out and Finally NDS heads in. Normally I’d detention the wheel and cut out the spokes and just use new ones because it’s less time consuming. In this case I got time and I need to be economical these days.
