Dumping almost all photos I took of this ORIENT CHAINLESS WALTHAM MANUFACTURING CO. WALTHAM MASS. 1899. Plus a few pics pulled from the net.
The owner is claiming that this is the Bicycle that Major Taylor won the 1899 world championship in Montreal.
He bought the bicycle and the 1899 trophy that Major Won, from the family years ago. I believe he did buy them from the family, as to the claim that this is the bike, I’m much much less certain. I wonder if Andrew Ritchie has seen this?
