Technical difficulties!:)
I measured the ceiling in another area of the shop, and it’s 1.5 inches higher. Of course it is. Didn’t think, realized before I installed it, but after I drilled the holes in the stand. Kinda was thinking of a different location, that’s where I measured, but last minute change of plans. Oops 😬 I think this is the best possible setup for my tiny workspace. No problem, wrote a note for things to do tomorrow on the ceiling, so I don’t forget!:)
In all seriousness it’s probably going to be more than o.k. Curtains gotta go, will be sticking some sort of diffusing plastic or something. Molly will sort it out, she said. Good height I think. Belt sander slightly in the way, but I can take the arms out in a jiffy for a bit more room. This fixture is begging for a lathe, they would be the best of friends. Already have ideas, but best to forget them.
