Happy New Year 2020

2019 didn't start out the greatest. I contemplated leaving Second Life. I decided to start Miktopia, to see if it could help me.

 

In the early part of the year, I asked Mish ... what she hoped for me in 2019. She said:

 

"I hope you find something new to tether you here, whether it's miktopia or something else. I hate seeing you miserable here, and hate worrying that you'll just throw in the towel and leave. I want you to find something here that makes you genuinely enjoy being here again."

 

I think she was dead on. I was lost for a while, but things got better. I dived into the sim. I planned other things. I had different "phases" I went through.

 

And then I met Jess.

 

She has really helped me, along with a few close friends, get back to being happy. We watched as Miktopia grew ... we added live music more, some great DJs, a good management team, and some other fun stuff. I can't wait to see where Miktopia goes in 2020.

 

It was a year of emotions, but one that ends better than it started and one that makes me look forward to 2020.

 

Happy New Year to everybody out there! To all who have played a major part in Miktopia growing in 2020... thank you from the bottom of my heart! You have all meant a ton to me. Going to tag a bunch of you ... just as thanks for helping with Miktopia over this year. This might be as a performer/DJ/host/regular... but so many of you have made huge impacts and I thank you. Sorry if I missed somebody on the tag list.. I'm doing the best I can here! (I know there are a couple I'm not FB friends with yet, as well ...)

 

And Jess...here's to seeing where the path takes us!
