Make-up Process
Firstly I applied a full coverage foundation (MAC Studio Fix) with a low SPF as I wanted my models skin to appear flawless and I wanted a foundation with low SPF to reduce the chance of my mode appearing to have a white cast look due to the strong studio lighting.
I then used Collection lasting perfection concealer in a slightly lighter shade underneath my model’s eyes to conceal her dark circles and to highlight this area, but my model has slightly protruding eyes so the impression of under circles was still prevalent.
I then applied a contour shade to my model’s cheekbones (sleek contour kit) to define my model’s face shape further, this is especially important to do when working within studio photography as the strong lighting can easily wash people’s faces out and therefore make them appear less sculpted.
I then used a pencil eyeliner to tight line my model’s upper lid to define the lash liner making her eyelashes appear bolder and to make her eyes stand out more.
I then applied serval coats of black mascara to my model’s upper and lower lashes to darken them whilst making her eyes appear bolder.
I then applied a nude eyeshadow to my model’s eyelids to make these areas matte and to cover any veins that were sowing through.
Finally I used a charcoal brown eyeshadow to begin to fill in my model’s eyebrows to match Cara’s bold brows, luckily my model already had fairly full eyebrows but I shaded slightly outside them to exaggerate the shape and thickness further.
I then went in with an eyebrow pencil to further define and darken the brows
I finished off the look by applying a translucent powder to set the face make-up into place and reduce shine.
