Natural make-up 2

Using the same concealer I concealed my model’s blemishes but I was careful not to directly apply the concealer to my model’s blemishes as this could contaminate the concealer, instead I put some concealer on onto my finger tip and then dabbed it into my model’s forehead and blended it out.

I then used a semi matte powder to set the foundation and concealer into place but without making the skin look too matte as this would look extremely unnatural. I did this by using a small fluffy powder brush and small dabbing motions as using stroking motions could disrupt the underlying make-up and cause it to move.

After setting the face make-up I moved onto the eyebrows. I started of my grooming the eyebrows into place with a spooly to make them all lay in the same direction so filling them in would be easier as I could see exactly what areas needed the more definition and to get a more precise shape.

Using a mixture of different brow powders to create an exact match for my model’s eyebrows and began to fill them in lightly with an angled brush. I used small firm strokes to replicate brow hairs. I kept within my model’s natural brow as I wanted to keep the look natural.

I then used a coloured brow gel to set the brows into place whilst adding slight definition to brows.

To complete the brows I used a fine detail brush and a slightly darker eyebrow powder shade to fill in any remain sparse areas and to add dimension to the brows by giving the illusion of multi toned hairs.

I then moved onto the eyes where I swept on a neutral toned eye shadow that was slightly darker than my model’s skin tone on the lids to neutralise the lids and conceal any veins showing through

Then I applied a lighter shade to my model’s brow bone and inner corners to highlight these areas.

I then used a darker matte brow eye shadow as a contour shade to contour my model’s crease to define this area, which I blended out with a clean fluffy eye shadow brush.

I created and uploaded a time lapse video of myself applying this make-up look to my model to my YouTube channel : www.youtube.com/watch?v=ee5ez8p9lsU
