A new day dawns [explored 29-03-2020]

On a different world....

 

Reynisdrangar are basalt sea stacks situated under the mountain Reynisfjall near the town Vík í Mýrdal in Iceland.

 

Legend says that the stacks originated when trolls dragged a three-masted ship to land unsuccessfully and when daylight broke they became needles of rock.

 

It's hard being a troll....

 

It's even harder finding the sea so flat, so a loooong exposure was needed here 'and' a wonderful sun.
