Kadu Flyer
79 Degrees North
After lunch on the boat which I enjoyed, hungry since breakfast had disappeared, we left Ny-Ålesund. We headed out of the harbor and the captain asked if we would like to go to 79 degrees north, well we were almost there, everyone said yes!
We watched the ships navigation system as we tracked across the fjord until we were there, 79 degrees north, and here we were greeted by the most beautiful blue iceberg.
We circled it for a while before heading back out into a rougher sea for our trip back to Longyearbyen.
It took four hours to get here, getting back would be longer!
The mother glacier is beyond!
