playing silly reindeer games....

 

The guy on the left is an old one that I bought ages ago ... as with other crafty things I hoped to eventually make one just like it.

 

Finally! this year I did.

 

I don't have any same coloured felt and the felt I did order online is stuck somewhere in Canada ... because our postal service is on strike.

 

However, I don't mind the sort of oatmeal colour of the new one. When I made the wreath for the new guy I could tell that the older one wanted some better 'stuff' on his wreath. So, I took off his rusty old bells and added some new shiny ones and a red bead....

 

The two of them are pretty happy with their fancy wreaths now.....

 

I had to dig under a foot of snow to unearth some shrubs and find tiny twigs for legs and antlers..... my fingers were frozen.... but, I did manage to find a few.

 

This week the temperatures are up in the plus numbers and snow is melting...must go out and look for more 'antlers' .... I want a whole flock of reindeer.... wait a minute.... maybe it's a herd....
