Wanna bite of cookie?
It is all I can offer... today.... but...............read on.... tomorrow you can all come by for tea and cookies.......
There has been no flour on the shelves... for a few weeks now. Has the rest of the world gone mad and taken up baking? It used to be only me that ever bought those big 10 kg. bags of flour.. and I never pay full price ($13.99) for them! But, when I saw two of them there today...I practically pounced on one. And, I had to carry it around with me as I didn't even get a cart today...only planned to get some toilet paper and ...there was none of that, of course.
So, now I can bake my usual fun stuff...yaaaayyyyy and, bread, like I usually do. One old guy was buying a little bag of flour that he found, but there was no yeast. I told him I should give him my phone number...he could give me his flour, I would bake him a loaf of bread. I'm thinking we may have to get back to the barter system.
