Eight months after

On a ridgeline eight months after the the big Pole Creek/Bald Mountain fire. There are large areas where a lot of the trees survived. I could see where the fire crept along the ground but never got to the crown. The spots where the fire became a crown fire though were totally consumed. It was a spooky atmosphere, and I didn't go very far into the big burn.
