Mk. 5 Robot Soldier, also known as "Týr", is an autonomous operator with advanced artificial intelligence capable of recognizing allies and enemies, taking coordinated actions, taking important decisions in battle, guiding allies, and recognizing opportunities and possibilities that the surrounding environment offers, like roofs and hiding places. Moreover, it is programmed to be also remotely piloted, thanks to an advanced remote communication system. This unit is capable of using most modern firearms, thanks to extremely articulated and articulated appendages and limbs. The movements of the Mk. 5 are made possible thanks to powerful high efficiency electric servomotors, powered by two fuel cell batteries. The Mk. 5 has an advanced communication system, an APS system, two grenade launchers, a laser alarm system. Obviously this unit is not exempt from some problems: overheating of the fuel cells if the housing is damaged, blocking of the systems if hit by EMP pulses, resistance of the mechanical parts compromised in extremely dusty environments, and finally the weight still too high despite the use of resistant and relatively light metal alloys.
