As scheduled, Sony has launched its latest flagship – the Xperia Z5 and “world’s first smartphone with 4K resolution” – the Xperia Z5 Premium in dual-SIM variants in India. The company has priced Xperia Z5 at INR 52,990, while the Premium comes with a price tag of INR 62,990. The Xperia Z5 is now available to purchase, while the Xperia Z5 Premium will hit sale on November 7. For unawares, both handsets were firstly unveiled at IFA 2015 event in Berlin, Germany.
Talking about Sony Xperia Z5, it features a 5.2 inch Triluminos IPS display with X-reality engine fitted into a full HD panel with 1080×1920 pixels of resolution offering 428ppi of pixel density. Powering the smartphone is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 SoC which packs an octa-core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of ROM which is expandable through MicroSD. Talking about Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, it features a 5.5 inch HD Triluminos display fitted into an IPS panel with 3840×2160 pixels of 4K resolution offering 806ppi of amazing pixel density. Running on Sony-flavored Android v5.1, the smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 810 SoC which packs 3GB of RAM and 32GB of ROM which is expandable up to whopping 200GB.
