Samsung's New Clamshell Device Imported to India, Know More

Nerdeky News:

It seems that Samsung was silently working on a new clamshell handset – the SM-W2016 which has been spotted at GFX benchmark as well as Zauba – a website that lists the handsets imported to India for testing. Considering the model number SM-W2014 and SM-W2015 of original Galaxy Golden and Galaxy Golden 2 respectively, we can expect the newcomer to be launched as Galaxy Golden 3.

Generally Samsung launch the clamshell devices in Korea only but as the Galaxy Golden 3 has already been imported in India for testing, we can expect the handset to be launched globally this time. Anyway, let’s head to the specs. According to GFX database, the handset boots Android v5.1.1 Lollipop and features a 4.6 inch AMOLED multi-touch (up to 5 fingers at once) display with 1280×768 pixels of resolution.

Internals of the Galaxy Golden 3 is very impressive as it packs Samsung’s homegrown Exynos 7 SoC which is built on big.LITTLE architecture and comes with octa-core processor (four Cortex-A53 cores and four Cortex-A57 cores). Internals of the handset also include 3GB of RAM and 64GB ROM. Further, the smartphone features a duo of 15 and 5 megapixels shooters placed on its rear and front, respectively.
