Corolla Historic Park

A 39 acre public park located on North Carolina's Outer Banks.

Corolla became a popular place in the 1920's for duck and waterfowl hunting. The town's name is derived from the Native American word "Carotank" which means land of the wild geese.

The Currituck Beach Lighthouse in the distance rises 162 feet over cedar and pine trees.
