A project in the Biennale pavilion of Paraguay in the cloister of the church of Santa Maria dei Carmini.
The Project of "Aqua Alta" designed by a group of people, through an active participatory expereince, has developed a conceptual and structural idea in which water is the lelment of identity (Paraguay, in Guarani means"water that runs towards the sea") furthermore, it is the element that makes the structure possible, supporting it with its own weight. The form is a consequence of the constructive and structural logic. Equilibrium theories and the way in which weight is transmitted as a force to the ground are the basis of the design. The construction itslef is the project. (note from the catalogue)
